# Legal client-intake accepted-owner checklist

Use this checklist to inspect an administrative legal-intake workflow. It is
educational material, not legal advice and not evidence of a live Koltra
product run.

- [ ] The contact source, time, stated purpose, and notices shown are recorded.
- [ ] The person's words remain distinguishable from normalized administrative fields.
- [ ] Missing and ambiguous facts remain visible.
- [ ] Collection, access, retention, and routing follow the firm's declared rules.
- [ ] The workflow stops before legal advice, case assessment, representation, or conflict decisions.
- [ ] Any firm-system update records its permitted payload, result, safe reference, and duplicate control.
- [ ] An authorized person or queue accepts the remaining decision and next communication.
- [ ] The terminal state never describes administrative completion as legal acceptance or representation.

If the firm cannot identify who owns the next step, what state they received,
and when they accepted it, the intake remains unresolved.
